طلاب الحقوق في جامعة تل أبيب ينظمون وقفة لأجل غزة داخل الحرم الجامعي

في ظل الأحداث الدموية الأخيرة في غزة، والتي لا توصف إلا بالمجزرة مع استشهاد أكثر من 60 فلسطيني وفلسطينية، بالإضافة إلى العنصرية المتفشية والتهجّم الكلامي المستمر على الطلاب العرب، قمنا - طالبات وطلاب الحقوق - بالدعوة إلى وقفة صامتة، حدادًا على أرواح الشهداء، ودعمًا لحريّة التعبير.خلال الوقفة، التي ضمت محاضرين، مدرّبين وطلاب حقوق، حاولت مجموعة من اليمين المتطرف أن تستفزنا وتعرقل وقفتنا الراقية. مع ذلك، التزم كافة المشاركين بعدم الانجرار ورائهم، تأكيدًا على الموقف الأخلاقي، الإنساني والوطني المتمثل بمثل هذه الوقفة.مع انتهاء الوقفة، أكدنا على ضرورة وقف الحصار على غزة وأكدنا على التحامنا بنضال أهلنا في القطاع المتمثّل بالعودة أولًا. بالإضافة، ألقينا التحية للمحاضرة د. لينا سلايمة وغيرها من المحاضرين والمحاضرات الذين أضربوا البارحة.طالبات وطلاب الحقوق اثبتوا مرة أخرى أن القيم الأخلاقية والمبادئ القانونية لا تنحصر على تعليمهم فحسب، بل هي جزء لا يتجزء من حياتنا اليومية، ويتوجب على الفرد الأكاديميّ عامة والقانونيّ خاصة أن يأخذ موقف صارم وواضح دعمًا للمطالب العادلة، ومنها الحريّة للشعب الفلسطيني.

In the light of the latest events in Gaza, that cannot be put in words other than a vicious relentless massacre, together with taking the lives of more than 60 Palestinians, and the fascist racism and verbal violence against Arab students, we – Law students – held a silent stand representing, in the name of freedom of expression, solidarity with the souls of the martyrs murdered in Gaza.
During the stand, which included students along with academic staff members, a group of extreme Right-wing students tried to provocatively obstruct us. However, we ignored their attempts of instigating us, and we continued to emphasize the moral, human and patriotic values reflecting from our stand.
At the end of the event, we laid stress on the essentiality of lifting the Gaza blockade, together with exclaiming honest and sheer support for our people and family in Gaza, mainly for their right of return. In addition, we honored the strike of lecturers such as Lina Salaimeh and others, which took place in the past day.
Law students have again proven that moral values and legal principles are not solely existent in their education, but rather they are an integral part of their daily lives. It is the duty of each and every individual, who is a part of the academic world in general and the legal field in particular, to adopt a firm and clear position supporting fair and just needs, including the freedom of the Palestinian people.
